Comunicorp provides Speech and Language Therapy Services for native English speakers who have speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders. Our Speech Therapists are native
English speakers trained in the US and certified by the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (www.asha.org).
The Speech Therapists on the Comunicorp staff also run the Accent Reduction program with our adult business students and those actors in the community who wish to improve their English pronunciation. The initial evaluation for this course involves a
conversation in which the Speech Therapist assesses which American sounds are absent or
distorted in conversation. The Accent Reduction course is then personalized so that students learn to hear and incorporate into their repertoire those new sounds which have the most significant impact on their English.
