Comunicorp has adopted the European Level System (adapted from the Council of Europe) for use in the Chilean market to give students an honest assessment using an accepted international standard. The three main stages or levels are: Basic, Intermediate and Advanced. Each stage or level is composed of six sublevels that clearly define the oral and grammatical performance of students at the time of their assessment.

The initial level is obtained on an evaluation (Level Test) which takes five to thirty minutes depending on the studentīs level and knowledge. The goal of the evaluation is to measure grammar usage, vocabulary, auditory comprehension and, in a more limited way, fluency. A separate evaluation can be used to further assess fluency when further information is required by client companies.

Depending on the type of course, a written exam, a reading exam, or a sound(phonetic) inventory may be required to set goals and give us pre-course information for Comunicorp's exclusive courses.

During the training process, students are evaluated periodically and at the end of the course. Level tests are given when students achieve the goals of their programs and new programs are developed accordingly. (For further information about levels and goal-oriented programming, see Methodology)
